Got a slave for a 97 chevy truck 2wd. its shallower and bolts to the trans perfectly. it may be too shallow and require a spacer, which is no big deal they appear to be readily available in many thicknesses. I went ahead and ordered the clutch master cylinder and line for the same make and model truck.

Next step is to remove old transmission and mach up the new one. I will need to fabricate a cross member and see if the trans clears my trans tunnel. Ill post pics once the old trans is out.
