Yes, I didn't like the close proximity of the steering shaft to the #7 header tube and knew I was re-working that portion of firewall anyways. That eliminated the need for a bunch of u-joints and I also positioned the steering column more centered between the gauge openings so those two modifications combined makes the steering wheel sit nicely
