Thanks PTC. Yours is looking good too!

I'm working at getting mine road legal

Today I took the big wire wheel to the cross sills.

Primed and painted them with the help of a heat gun.

The bed risers are from my scrap pile. I cut to size, drilled a hole, and welded the 3/8 - 16 nut on them.

It was quick and easy and will look better once some bed wood is on.

The cross sills were pitted in some places as you can see. You won't see them either.

My bed sides and front panel look like they have been in a train wreck.

At this point I don't care. Most of it will be covered by the fender and fleetside wheel house for tubs.

I will build a new bed or find a better one later. Now I can practice on this one.

My original bed was a long bed and it is on a trailer frame waiting it's turn.

I am having trouble getting the headlight switch out. Pushed the button on top and got the knob and shaft out, but I can't seem to get the bezel off.

Maybe an M-80?

Don't look at my fuel hose it was all I could find. I'll go to Goodyear and get the real stuff soon enough. That is if they are still there.
