I'm with clyde..your gonna want a overdrive..my 81 c30 with sm465 and 4.10s was twisting my 350 pretty hard at highway speeds.. when I went to the lq9 6.0 I changed to a nv4500..its very driveable now with the od trans..the manuals may can take that much hp and torque but it wouldn't be fun to stand on it and destroy the trans so I don't know..
