I did the same conversion your speaking of and also all the mod's that CB spoke of too. I also used parts from a '78 Cadillac Seville. I am a machinist by trade and did all my own mods as well (turn axle, redrill mounting holes for backing plates and sloting backing plate to mount on back side of axle flange).

As far as costs,

$25.00 - backing plates - salvage yard
$15.00 - used calipers - salvage yard
$78.00 - each - new calipers - auto supply store
$59.00 - new rotors - auto supply store

The reason i went to the salvage yard for the calipers is for all of the emergency brake brakets. The new calipers dont come with them. Strip your old calipers and use them for the core charge on the new ones.

I still have to "open up" the litte slot for the emergency brake cables to connect to the Caddy calipers and i havent installed my brake lines yet, Inline Tube can make these for you, just give them a call and let them know that you are doing.

Hope this helps
