I'm going to take a look at that. When I removed the other speakers I noted that the cone was a tiny bit distorted. I'm thinking the dash pad might have been touching. It may have happened during the pad install too, but I'm going to verify clearance on the new speakers. Surprisingly, the Kicker speakers are lower profile even though they are coaxial.
