You know what's funny, I never used a single reducer or anything on my whole truck. I put 12 volts in it, it had the 12 volt starter so that's handled, put 12 volt bulbs, that's handled and that was all I did. Even the horns stayed 6 volt, those suckers were LOUD.

But I had no voltage reducer on the gauges, everything worked fine.
