If you're going to attempt to build a box for the sub yourself, be sure to use MDF, which I think is what you see on TV. Most (probably 99%) of the pros use MDF for audio boxes. You wouldn't want your sub rattling the heck out of a metal box (and it would). Keep at it, it's looking good!
