I totally agree with real life being most like the second picture, because there is always something that thwarts your plan. Kids, honey-do's, home repairs, or other vehicle breakdowns, the list is endless.

I think that is why you see so many unfinished projects for sale in the local paper and craigslist. some folks just give up after a while. I do get it. I really got a kick out of the comment about the rocks being thrown at you.
