Don't limit your search to just Chevy wheels. While looking for a replacement for my 75, I test fit a wheel from a period Pontiac. It would have physically and electrically worked but had a square base which didn't seem a good fit for our round columns. Eventually found one from an 80's Blazer. Just make sure you get all of the horn button bits when you get a replacement wheel. Those do change from wheel to wheel.

in my experience chevys up until like 10-15 years ago have always been really good about stuff interchanging, where you can take a part off a 65 and it will bolt right up to a 85.
heres my cavalier steering wheel, its very soft and 100 times more comfortable then the factory one
