ACC carpets are very well done, and I love the high quality "original finish" look they give the back of a Blazer or Suburban like just off the page of a GM brochure. But I don't like carpet in the cargo area as a practical matter. Carpet retains water and stores grease and dirt.
I've installed a
Dee Zee DZ86974 Heavy Weight Bed Mat in both my Jimmy and my Suburban. Its not the cheapest solution, but it is the most practical. Plus, the heavy rubber has the added benefit of being an excellent and immediately noticeable sound deadener. The mat is intended for the 8' bed of a standard pickup but fits very well inside a Blazer or Suburban after trimming the front section back to fit.
