They are hard to break... and they are Cheap out of the wrecking yard. I see them between $150 & $300 in my neck of the woods.

Aftermarket support is great.

You can change the seals yourself pretty easily, when you are changing the seals you can look at the bearings and make a decision to rebuild or not.

I picked mine up for $150, had it rebuilt for $280 with new bearings and seals... I added the twin stick shifter for $220.

Look at Advance Adapters for the set up you need, or go to the wrecking yard... or Ebay, I see adapters on their regularly. You might spend 100 bucks or 350 bucks for the adapter you need to attach to a th350, th400 or 700r4. Maybe more if you are hooking into a newer style transmission.
