That almost brings us up to current time. Everything from here on out has been done within the past few days.

Last week Dad and I got the bumper off and started prepping it for paint. I never did like the black stripe on top of the bumper. But as Dad was sanding it we noticed some filler work that was starting to come off, I guess somebody had cut the bolt heads off to get the bumper off, I wish they had never taken it off. It probably looked great as it was.
Anyways Dad bondo’d the cut marks correctly and painted the bumper. He gave it some black faded looking spots by spraying the black over the argent silver while it was still wet. Then cleared it with flat clear. I think it turned out great, and really original looking.
And of course I added a classic style USA-1 plate, with actual old school chrome license plate bolts.
