Lights were not added to the side markers until sometime during the 1969 model year. My '69 produced in Dec., 1968, did not have them, but I have added them. The original legislation required lights or reflectors. The regulation was changed to include lights and reflectors. I believe the new requirement went into effect Jan. 1, 1970.

The lower trim level trucks did not have door switches for the dome light. I don't know if they were a standalone option, but I doubt it.
