As for history, you could check with the dmv in Illinois (or the state where seller purchased it) and obtain a previous owner/registration report. From there, you might be able to contact one of the previous owners for the information you’re interested in. In Oklahoma, the tax commission is the “dmv”. There’s a form on their website I can download and submit that will request all available records the Okla Tax Commission has on the vehicle.
