Re: Need tips on painting hood

Painting eastwoods' single stage urathane quarter mile candy red. Devilbiss flg-4 finishline gun. Approx. 20-25 lbs. Of air. I'm down to hood and bed. Cab all done and reassembled. Changing from steel floor to wood. Came out pretty good. I think i have a tendency of being to far away with the gun. So it ends up with to much orange peel. I sanded through paint and will have to repaint one door. Is it possible to "touch up" single stage or do u just repaint whole "panel" ? To close with gun and u run it, to far away and its orange peel city ! Big difference between 12 in. Away and 6 in. Away. I'm gonna try 6-8 in. Away with less air. Obviously not a ton of experience here. 3-4 cars but over yrs. So u forget half of what u learned by the time u do another one.
