I was in a similar situation. I replaced the stock system with the flaming river shortly after purchasing my 70. I priced rebuilding the stock components and decided to take the plunge. My truck is 250 6. I did have a clearance issue with the oil pan which necessitated lifting the frame motor mounts with 1/2 inch flat stock. Also had to get creative with the power steering pump mount. I’m not thrilled with my solution, but it works. Used a combination of the included abc mounts and a vintage air bracket welded together. If you have a 350, you can disregard all of the above. I would expect a pretty smooth install!
