funny story, I called my wife out to witness the start and she was holding her ears. after I started it she said "oh".

turns out she remembered when we drove the truck home 40 minutes with a missing chunk of exhaust where the cat resided. WAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUGGGHHHHHH!!

front end, had to run the headlight harness and figure out the splash shield/air directors/grille. I have been avoiding this because everything was bent, I had pounded some of the damage out but had no idea if it was going to fit. I made the air director from some kydex (in the areas that would have been impossible to make from steel) and some steel, and routed the wiring for the headlights. after that I popped the grille surround on, which was well nigh impossible because it required taking the splash shield back off. trial fit the grille and it will fit, I need to paint the front before installing permanently.
