I like the K&N valve cover filters. There's many different types depending upon your valve cover hole size.

One of the biggest problems with engines, pre crankcase ventilation days was the problem created by the LACK of ventilation. THe acrid vapors generated in the crank case quickly turn the oil into vile nasty crap. The oil would turn acidic and erode bearings and essentially the inside of the crank case...
My 2015, with 1200mi has a catch can and I dump out about 2 ounces of oil every 6 months. Every vehicle we have owned over the last 10 years has had one with same results.I would rather all that oil not go through my throttle body. I am going to run a PCV system in order to create healthy pressure/ventilation system. If you haven’t read all the research on catch cans, I would suggest it.
