Agreed. Or is it just ‘greed’. Anyway, I think it is worse in VA. They have - as I recall - an annual personal property tax on vehicles that amounts to roughly 4% of FMV. Every damn year.
I’m sure other states have it just as bad but screw having to pay it over and over. I wasn’t much of a ‘taxation is theft’ kind of person, but I’m getting there....
