Today I reluctantly began engine disassembly. Really discouraging to take apart a running, driving vehicle and turn it into a pile of parts, especially since this is the second time I've torn it down for this same issue. Oh well, I have all winter to finish it, I probably wouldn't be driving it much this time of year anyway.

It sucks, but you won't be guessing anymore. You won't be worried about it failing, it will be done right. Then you will drive it's friggin wheels off!
