Re: Just when I thought I had enough...
This is the way I look at it...My hobbies become addictions when...
I'm too old (physically incapable) to do the work,
I'm to financially strapped to afford the hobby,
I'm lacking the time because of other needs or wants get in the way,
I've run out of room for the collection,
There becomes waste due to overindulgence,
I get too smart to want to continue in the activity (bad habits come to mind), and
when I've reached a talent limit and I give up because I need to be proud of my abilities and have overstreched my limits.
UNTIL THEN I'm in it for the long haul. Once I reach one of the above roadblocks...I consider quiting and dealing with the withdrawls.
Sometimes it's a race to finish the project (whatever it is) before the roadblock is hit.
Kepp up the good fight and let the bad ones go.
I do live vicariously through you folks that find all those great trucks that need the love I wish I could give, so don't stop posting your great field finds. I wish a restomod 67 K20 short step with disc brakes, 400 ci, manual trans, AC, mild lift, and a moon visor was in my future, but I have little of the above list left. I will have to be happy with my small collection of two cars and two trucks.
