While the bed floor cured I moved on to my next project. I went through my collection of headlight bezels and found the best pair. These aren't perfect, but they will do till I can locate a better set. Until then I decided to restore these as best as possible.
I used a mildly abrasive compound to get as much tarnish off as possible. I followed that with chrome polish to bring back the shine.
The original paint was pretty bad so it was removed with Scotch Brite and brake cleaner.
