I wanted to remove the air cleaner as a possible source of air restriction, so I remade the video with the air cleaner off:

And then immediately after that video I made another video showing how it behaves when restarted immediately after a stall:

I also made these videos with the engine cold to prove to myself that I could make it stall cold or warm. I think this indicates it's probably not vapor lock too.

I checked the exhaust pipe under the truck. There is no catalytic converter I can see, just a muffler.
