1st photo is where I have cut away the rotten metal a little bit already.

2nd photo is lay out on 16 gauge sheet steel

3rd photo is hammer form I made out of MDF (medium density fiberboard)

4th photo is different view of hammer form

5th photo is with metal formed on hammer form

I set the holes where they should be on the finish piece and used them as the alignment holes where the bolts hold the two pieces together.
