I finally gave up on adjusting my Sheetmetal myself. I took the truck to a guy who deals with these trucks almost exclusively in the Denver area - Jeff Flythe. The guy is a wizard!
He also showed me a good trick. Every time I thought I had the hood adjusted right, I'd put the springs back on and it would all blow up. Jeff took the springs off altogether and installed a support rod. Great idea!
