I gotta admit, that 700R4 trans is a joy to drive. The truck is so much nicer now and I find I drive it more. I still have the old trans, clutch, flywheel, bell housing, and crossmember if anybody needs it. But Im sold on the auto.
I also did a factory tilt column from Randy here on this forum and it is really nice.
The only bad side of the whole project is that since the truck is so nice to drive I am already planning on new carpet and fixing up the interior.
