I have wired more cars than I can count, American Auto Wire is the best out there, that’s why I am a dealer for them. If you solder, I can tell you exactly where you will have an issue, the terminal thats soldered, the soldering hardens the wire at that point and it becomes brittle, check the testing BMW did years ago on this.
I have at least 4 pairs of crimping tools, each for their own style, if youhave one that only squeezes the terminal and doesn’t stake it, your gonna have problems, use a good adhesive lined heat shrink, never rely on the blue, red, yellow plastic crap, they don’t seal anything.
