I'm still amazed at how well it worked and I got the cowl free from my great neighbor James. He's the guy that gave me the donor hood. I spliced into the taillight wiring running down the frame rail below

I finished the welding on the hood today except the bottom edge. Since I don't posses the ability to weld upside down. I'll take care of it when the hood comes off for paint.
