I have the "It's not you, it's me" conversation regularly @ the local watering hole I frequent (proximity, friendly owners, food, tv's, & scenery). I'm probably their No.1 customer that sits @ a table alone & tries like he** to eat my food/drink my drink while avoiding conversations w/most of the other/regular patrons. There are a few that I'm comfortable with (only after enough observation/assessment time) that I'll have conversations with. There's more that I've told flat-out to stay away & ignore....
The Pandemic/shut-down convinced me to finally get a TV (9yrs w/o one) since I couldn't go see $1 movies any more over the colder Winter (well, Tx winter) months & start buying more microwaveable meals. Beyond that, things didn't change much socially.
