We got lucky and found a great clean complete set in a truck at the junk yard for cheap.

*edit* I should of read your whole post before replying, whops! But definitely look for a set of seats at the yard this weekend, you might be surprised.
I've never seen any armrest seats without the leather option. They do exist but they may be difficult to find.

I have the LT trim level cloth seats without armrests and I've never seen the cloth seats with them to be able to touch them. Just pictures.

The LS & LT cloth velour seats are a lot nicer than the base model seats if you can find a pair. More padding and nicer cloth covers in the mid trim level seats but they don't wear as well as the base model cloth. There's at least two different geometric dyed velour patterns on the mid trim level cloth.

Base Model Cloth in the WT package trucks. Very wear resistant fabric and manual seat controls so very able to put up with rough treatment. Not as comfy as the LS & LT seats tho. Might be worth trying mid trim level butt foam with this cover and keep the seats you have.

LT Cloth Note the larger multi-colored triangles on the centre insert fabric.

LS cloth with console & armrests. Note the much smaller dot pattern in the centre insert velour. I picked up one of this pattern seat without armrests. Had more mileage than mine but I bought it to get the working seat motors. The gears in my seat base were stripped. The seat belt on the donor seat was chewed up on the edges and a fair amount of crud in the velour so I got it cheap. I swapped in new butt foam & drivers butt upholstery that matched my original interior along with my original belts with my original seat back onto the donor base.
