I have a gauge pod. It's called an instrument cluster. I think their has been a general move toward original design since this thread has started. Might be why these dash pad pods aren't offered any more. I am building my '67 as a period correct hot truck. Not so concerned with being all original, such as was the case in 67-72. Although I have a premium grade tach dash to use, I am thinking to create my own cluster using more accurate performance gauges. In 67-72 when 30s-50s cars and trucks were being hot rodded, you'd see people building their own clusters, the way drag racers did. Knee knocker tach, larger speedometer dead center, oil pressure/oil temp one one side and amperes/water temp on the other. I don't recall seeing guys stumbling over themselves to run tach dashes back then in anything. That was for our dad's car
