I installed the Boyd tank without removing the bed and I didn't use their mounting kit. I backed the truck up on a set of ramps and installed everything from underneath. I also installed the fuel line, filter and regulator as I went to EFI. The tank inlet was installed behind the tail light, which required most of it being done from underneath also.
