I powder coated an aluminum intake for a friend. Used a product color named "almost chrome". The factory recommendation was to use a clear powder coat on top. I left the clear off and it looks like aluminum. Looks great and cleans up well. Just remember to block off the carb heat. Nothing stands up to that heat!

I have also powder coated intakes Chevy Orange and I liked that as an option as well.
