Felix Chevrolet was a key Chevy dealer in Downtown Los Angeles. [Might still be there, IDK]. When I found the build sheet on my '68 C/10 Stepside, I saw their name prominently.
If that Gold/White '68 Fleetside is a Fremont build, there's a very good chance it was once sold thru Felix.

On the other hand, the '' Felix Holding a sizzling Cannonball '' image was the WWII squadron mascot of a US Navy Fighter, Attack or Dive Bombing squadron. [Not sure of the unit number, but I've seen it on vintage photos.] In that case, the truck may have belonged to a Naval Aviator or aircraft maintainer.

Or just a big Felix The Cat fan, who knows?
