Yea, the bashing on the other thread was a shame.
I linked the thread for the IFS and AWD info.
The other option is a custom cross member and raise the engine if the under hood space allows, then tunneling of the cab would be necessary.
At that point the driveshaft angles, camber and steering clearances would need to be looked at. Probably a 4-link up front would help with clearances, especially if cross over steering was used.
