It is so addictive, that once is usually enough, but if you try it the second time, meth now owns you. It is an endorphine producing drug, like Cocaine, except about 100 times more potent. If you know someone who is hooked, get them help. Users are not bad people, the drug owns them and they will do whatever it takes to get the next high. I would guess that the recovery rate would be near zero for folks trying to quit on their own. The comercials, and billboards and this post can help prevent people from trying, but it doesn't heal those that are already using. We need to make this a priority in all of our communities. We need a way to get people help, even if that means calling the police.
