I don't know too much about diesels except the whole fuel injector thing. They get expensive that way. I've also heard they can be a bugger to start in cold weather which we will see a lot of (probably more you) in the winter months. I'd say go for it! Sounds like something cool and would be something people don't see everyday! I think I've only ever seen one in person with a diesel.
