The 250 is an inline six.
My bet is on the carburator. sitting for four years has no doubt dried out some of the gaskets in the carb not to mention other places. I bet it needs to be rebuilt. I would check spark first and if you have spark the dump a little gas down the carb and then see if she'll fire up.
