For Chevrolet trucks i think for computer control 84 may have been but im not 100% sure and 85 did have a computer control carb i use to have one.

For Chevrolet trucks the first year for Fuel Injection would be 1987 it was TBI wich isn't really a true fuel injection system but it's easy to convert to a MPFI system and thats what i did to my '87!!


BTW i use to have a 1979 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 231 and it had what GM called CCC Computer Controled Carburator! the Computer was very limited on what it controled as a matter of fact you could actually unplug the ECM and the car would still run normally!
