Not quite sure what they mean. Stock springs are 3 1/2” wide, aftermarket are 3”. All the brackets that I’ve seen are for aftermarket springs. Maybe give em a call and see. Since you have a 4l80, you might’ve able to run a 205 from 86-91. We all know the 91 205 is rare as hen’s teeth, and only reason is the VSS. But you might be able to use an older one if you can put the VSS in the tail of the tranny like a 2wd one. Low range shifts get funky but there is a fix for that, just can’t remember what it is.
