Looks like a pretty solid overall starting point. I'm sure the media will reveal some more rust but you'll be well ahead by getting it down bare and being able to take care of it all so it doesn't come back soon after paint.
Sounds like a good plan! the drop you're looking at would still keep it plenty functional. Looking forward to the build!
