New wheel tire combo ready to mount (skinny tires + big block)

In my thread here, http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=763360, I was looking for input to get a stock hubcap looking setup for my C10.

I tracked down some original hubcaps on Ebay, found some 15x7" wheels at Scott's Supertrucks, Alberta, and ordered the Cooper Trendsetter tires.

The wheels were painted red, so I sanded the paint off, and spray painted primer, white paint, and clear coat. The tire mounting shop nicked the painted lip up during the tire installation, so I had to do some paint touch ups. I'm not going to the hassle or cost of powder coating the wheels like I've seen others do.

Nothing fancy

Primer

Waiting for the paint to dry, went sledding in British Colombia (iPhone photos).

Mounted with hubcaps

Can use a little polish

Next, mount 'em on the truck. What a build up with no pics on the truck, eh?! I'll get them on an update with a photo.
