I actually have a 68 parts truck with a 235 in it.It doesn't fit all that well IMO.It's too tall.I ran one in a 32 SWB and it was a slow go.I got passed on a hill by a motor home

I had it floored,and he just blew right on by.The ol motor just didn't have any umph.It was a good engine,never ever used oil,or smoked,but no power either.

I have one in my 49 also,and it feels the same way.Just gutless,and low geared.
