Re: Changing front & rear coil springs on '65 Chevy C10
With the help of the search feature, earlier this morning, I was able to find some good information. I replaced the front and rear coils with stock height coil springs this afternoon at my shop with common tools, a floor jack and some jack stands in about 4 hours. It would have gone faster, but the top and bottom bolts on the rear coil spring cups were rusted and had to be cut off, so this took about an hour or so more time. I also repaired the coil spring caps, so I didn't have to buy new ones.
