cold air intake is definitely the better choice..I did my 81 under the hood...works just fine but the dyno guy told me cold air would be a big improvement...then he popped the hood open while doing a dyno pull to show me the difference. ..its been awhile but I think I remember about 15-16hp gain ...my AD LS3 is going to be cold air...
