This brings me to current upgrading....
So last week my boy was off for spring break. We drove the Tahoe all over the first 3 days. Morning of day 3 we are headed to catch a train to go to Chicago to watch a Cubs/Brewers game. Trans started to slip 2-3 and bad in reverse. We got to train station no problem, it moved that night when we returned, but it did the same terrible slip 2-3 and reverse.
So I get up the next day and pull the transmission pan... Check this out.
That gold mud is plentiful and piled up on top of my filter too...
I found a used transmission that was out of a good clean 100k mile light role over 99 Suburban. AND ordered a heavy duty TC with 2000 stall.
