This does look good on your truck.

Since you have one of the most notable stepsides once I saw this thread i hoped the fleetside swap would faze itself out only cause it's harder to pull off something unique like what you did here.


I looked at buying a 68 k series long stepper years ago and someone bent and relief cut the edges and still kinking the trim around the front and back of the rear fenders and they had cut straight pieces for over the bedside too step seam that were mitered cut onto the bent peices.
The seller tried telling me it was all factory and had the price was way jacked up because of how rare it was with the trim.

Flat head wood screws staggered 6" apart on EVERY single peice front too back.

I would have bought that truck for sure if they would have got off the rare trim kick and realized it was just a long bed k stepper.
Still a very cool truck, not too common around here anymore.
Being a pa rust bucket it still needed way more work than most of us would want too anyway...
