So I got a little more done.... Trans , crossmember , transfer case, and rear driveline are all in and bolted up. Even with the trans moved foward 2" the 85 model shifter bend worked out great for dash clearance. I used the 72 transfer case shifter. Just have to find a 1972 4spd. Shift knob now. My transfer case I used with the 4 speed is a slip yoke rear output shaft. With the correct amount of yoke slip, the driveline came out to be 46" joint to joint. I just shortened down the long bed shaft out of the 85 also. More pics when I get it back on the lift. Got busy in the garage and had to move it out for a little while.
