Thanks for the heads up on this. It appears I was sold a 93-97 master instead of a 98-02. Looked them up on RockAuto and they definitely are different. LT1 version on top, LS1 version on bottom. I thought the metering valve contained the residual instead of the master cylinder? Not sure. Either way I need to get the right master and plumb it correctly.
